DEFINICIÓN EN ESPAÑOL: Tipo de línea telefónica que permite trasmitir información a gran velocidad. Simultanea el flujo de datos y de voz, por lo que permite hablar por teléfono al tiempo que se usa cualquier servicio de internet. Las siglas corresponden a las palabras en inglés: Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (línea de usuario asimétrica digital). Se dice que es "asimétrica" porque la velocidad de descarga de datos es mayor (no igual) a la de envío de datos.

DEFINICIÓN EN INGLÉS: Type of telephone line that allows transmit information at high speed. Simultaneous flow of data and voice , so lets talk on the phone while any internet service is used. The initials stand for English words : Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line ( asymmetric digital user line ) . It is said to be "asymmetric " because the download speed data is greater (not equal ) to the handling of data.
